Jaye Newton is marking his second studio album with an intense energy. Born in 1996 in Atlanta, Jaye Newton has put together a 13-track album that feels necessary. AZ Artist Emmitt Dupree features Jalopy Bungus in this heartfelt visual | #Music

Arizona Artist Emmitt Dupree just released this tantalizing visual for his single “Mama Don’t” featuring Jalopy Bungus. The music video is directed by Ian Q. Baker – both the song and the music video show Emmitt in a more vulnerable light, expressing his past troubles with his matriarch – adding a classic melody we all known to well. Jalopy follows up with his perspective based on his own experiences. The lighting in the video and cinemotogry helps deliver the songs message beautifully. Young Jasper swags out in his new video for “Jasper Flow” | #Music

Chicago’s Young Jasper recently unveiled his new “Jasper Flow” visual that is already becoming one of my favorite releases from the young rapper’s dense catalog. Jasper is as swaggy as ever but amidst his innate flash, he shows some more emotion in his lyrics, rather talking about his mental state or how far he has come with his music. The instrumental is perfect for him to do this, propelled by a spacey melody with thumping percussion to match. This is a great addition to Young Jasper’s collection and I am eager to hear more of this side of him. Watch … Continue reading Young Jasper swags out in his new video for “Jasper Flow” | #Music

Memphis legend Don Trip announces new tour dates featuring his Grind Hard affiliates | #Music

Legendary Memphis rapper Don Trip recently announced his new “One Night Only Tour” that will play dates all across the southeast and portions of the west coast, alongside his Grind Hard affiliates Trapperman Dale, MobSquad Nard, and DJ Logan Garrett. Trip has cemented himself as an icon in Tennessee’s (and the south as a whole) hip-hop consciousness and because of his near underground-legend status each of these locations will likely be pretty packed out. Trapperman Dale has had an incredible two-year run with his Trapstar and Dale Chapo mixtapes that performed well regionally, as well as on streaming services. MobSquad Nard also recently unleashed … Continue reading Memphis legend Don Trip announces new tour dates featuring his Grind Hard affiliates | #Music

Still Haze and Peter Kuli’s new track is laid-back and moody | #Music

Still Haze and Peter Kuli recently came together for a new track titled “Slowly” that is some sleepy ear candy for any indie fans. The instrumental is pretty simple as a whole and remains largely laid-back throughout with subtle blasts of dance influences before returning to the acoustic guitar riff that powers the entire song. The vocals are whimsical and fleeting and create a cosmic and subdued atmosphere that make “Slowly” a great track to relax to. Stream “Slowly” at the link below. HOOK’s visual for “STAND IT” is one of the best videos we have seen this month | #Music

I have seen HOOK’s name all over twitter over the past few weeks and although she is still very early in her career I already regret not fucking with her earlier. “STAND IT” is her latest release and before we even get into the music the direction and editing from Hassan is mesmerizing yet decidedly lo-fi. HOOK has an incredible amount of charisma on this song and delivers her verses powerfully. This confidence is infectious and is sure to endear her to larger audiences as soon as she is presented to them. The instrumental is melodic and thumping and created … Continue reading HOOK’s visual for “STAND IT” is one of the best videos we have seen this month | #Music

Musa Reems releases “Nothing New” | #Music

Musa Reems spit over a high-energy beat, produced by nk music, with a trap heavy bass, but a high-hat rhythm that is more reminiscent of a live-drummer mentality. The round and almost uneasy synth floats over the entire track providing the harmony/melody. Musa Reems takes the energy of the production and redirects it at the mistrust he has found to be a part of his journey as a emcee trying to make it in Chicago. Shoreline Mafia give us a tropical feel in their new visual for “Carribean” | #Music

Shoreline Mafia is leading the L.A. rap scene with their hard work and natural chemistry. Today, the L.A. rap collective shares “Caribbean,” –  a new music video with an ethereal, head-nodding production from longtime Shoreline sound architect Ron-Ron. In the video, OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin head to Hawaii, an ocean away from the Caribbean but with a similar island vibe, and taking a tour of the parts of the Aloha State that don’t show up in tourism books. Meanwhile, back in L.A., Rob Vicious has the time of his life at a local club. “Caribbean” is the latest video from Shoreline’s Party Pack Vol. 2. … Continue reading Shoreline Mafia give us a tropical feel in their new visual for “Carribean” | #Music

Jazz Regal is a musician who’s been making noise in the DMV and Texas and he has just dropped off a gritty new project titled Lifetime. This is his most recent offering since he dropped Petroplex back in February of 2018. He has clearly kept his fanbase waiting for the polished final project which was finished with 7 tracks in total but each song has its own riveting cadence, unlike the one prior to it. There are no features on the project as the spotlight is solely on Jazz which allows more time to showcase his versatility across the long-awaited … Continue reading Jazz Regal drops off an enticing new project | #Music
