Fort Worth rapper Go Yayo is back with a very hard new mixtape titled King of the Streets that I am very much enjoying. I have been a fan of Go Yayo’s music since his anthemic 2017 track “Beat Up the Pot” first hit my headphones and ever since I have been pleased with Yayo’s artistic development. His delivery is solid and he has one of my favorite rap voices in the game, alongside his collaborator and fellow Texan LilCJ Kasino. I am eager to see the visuals that Go Yayo rolls out to accompany the mixtape and am excited to give … Continue reading Go Yayo’s “King of The Streets” mixtape is a solid release for the Texas artist | #Music
This article will be very brief as I know next to nothing about industrial dance music, but I am nonetheless a big fan of BBY GOYARD‘s music and although I can’t really pinpoint why I love his new EP “Eastern Promises” I still will continue to keep it on repeat. This heavy dance influence makes sense given much of his prior work and I am very pleased with how this EP turned out and I think that BBY GOYARD could easily thrive in this niche sub-genre. Give it a run through yourself. I think you will enjoy it. The production … Continue reading BBY GOYARD is back with a eurohouse dance EP titled “EASTERN PROMISES” | #Music
In my opinion, Vermont rap group 99 Neighbors have dominated the past month of releases, beginning with their memorable “Fake Pods” video and continuing from there. Most recently the 99 Neighbors boys teamed up with Brasstracks and PhiloSofie for a breezy new track, bluntly titled “Fuck No.” The trumpet sections take the already funky instrumental to a new level, and this sets up all of the vocalists perfectly. PhiloSofie’s verse is delightful and her vocals have a sweet twinge about them that pairs well with her genuine lyrics. I am so excited to see what is next for 99 Neighbors … Continue reading 99 Neighbors have no plans of slowing down with yet another hard visual | #Music
Miami rapper Denzel Curry and Northampton, UK rapper Slowthai had a collaborative song leak earlier this year and that had many, many people very interested in hearing the fully mastered track in its full glory and it is finally here. “Psycho” is a menacing track, fitting the standard atmospheres of both Curry and Slowthai featuring each artist going all-out with their ominous and bellicose flows tearing into the instrumental driven largely by crescendoing string patches. I sincerely hope that more songs come out from this pair and am eager to see what American rappers collide with Slowthai next. Stream “Psycho” … Continue reading Denzel Curry and Slowthai’s collaborative track “PSYCHO” has FINALLY released | #Music
Nashville rapper King Coogi recently dropped what is in my opinion the best music video to be released from the city in 2019, thanks greatly to the expertise of John Lane, the video’s director, as well as the unmatched charisma of King Coogi who used his big personality and fighting skill to eviscerate his debtors in his incredibly animated visual. “Funds” is a straight-up banger produced by none other than Topper Atwood who is quickly positioning himself as the premier underground producer in the city. I urge you to check out this video immediately and promise that you will not … Continue reading King Coogi’s video for “FUNDS” is not one you will quickly forget | #Music
Rapper Chase Fetti is rising out of New Jersey with his latest effort, “Brazy.” The Garden State-native continues to step outside the box with his impressive wordplay and versatility in each bar. “I just want to hit and a lick and get some paper,” Chase raps on the snare-driven track. It serves as a follow-up to his “Made Gambinos” release a few months back. Peep the song below. Continue reading New Jersey rapper Chase Fetti goes “Brazy” on new track | #Music
North Carolina is heating up and rappers like Gunplay Mohdd sit on the forefront of Carolina’s rise to acclaim. Today, GPG treated fans to his latest visuals for “No Hook” featuring Birmingham’s up next talent TLE Cinco. The visuals catch the artists flexing rubber bands of money while trading verses back and forth. “Put ten all on my wrist, Johnny Dang in my mouth, I’m lit,” Mohdd raps.
