Texas rap group PNTHN is rapidly ascending through the rap scene’s ranks mainly due to a rabid following in their native region and the internet alike. Each individual member shines in their own right, using their contrasting styles and flows to make a unique and entertaining track over a head-knocking instrumental. They spit bars for the entirety of this track and their ability to assault an instrumental with their blend of wordplay and punching deliveries are becoming all too lost of an art in this day and age. Toronto singer Brahny is back with a gorgeously shot new video for his smooth track “Paradise.” Brahny’s three-part music video is a Chinese opera dedicated to his heritage. Sonically the track is stunning with various grooves and atmospheres throughout, all being equally melancholy yet trouble-free. The acts all reflect different emotions and existential experience with moods quite literally painted on their faces. I adore this track and had a great time watching this beautiful visual.
