Brodinski enlists Doe Boy for his new single “Gang” | #Music

Producer Brodinski suddenly announced that he was dropping an all new tape called Evil World, and that it was going to be released on October 24th. Here, he serves up a collaboration with my boy, Freebandz artist, Cleveland Ohio’s top dawg, Doe Boy. The track is called “Gang”, which comes as no surprise as the RBMG rapper is one of the rappers thats been credited for coining the phrase. Its crazy hearing Doe go in on this brand of production. I’ve always thought it would be dope to hear his vocals put to some darker EDM or some experimental beats. … Continue reading Brodinski enlists Doe Boy for his new single “Gang” | #Music

Riven’s track “I’m in This Bitch Lit” is an ethereal journey | #Music

On a recent trek through SoundCloud, I was lucky enough to stumble across Riven who is taking the traditional tropes of the underground style and putting his own unique and psychedelic influence upon the sound. The instrumental features crashing percussion that is juxtaposed by a flute melody that further muddies the waters sonically. Riven’s vocals are heavily autotuned but this takes nothing away from his performance, which is quite rare. I love this song and can’t wait to see what else Riven can do. Stream “I’m In This Bitch Lit” here: Continue reading Riven’s track “I’m in This Bitch Lit” is an ethereal journey | #Music

Remy impresses with his transparent and reflective new visual | #Music

Remy returns to the ELEVATOR pages today for his new visual for “checklist / the one about watching friends,” and the New York artist is genuine in his lyrics from start to finish, speaking candidly about issues like depression and relationship struggles in a frank and uncompromising manner. The overall tone is quite gentle and the instrumental is powered by a reflective guitar riff that nicely highlights his tender vocals.  Remy is riding a hot-streak of videos as his last effort also landed in our pages and I am very excited to see what else he can do. Watch “checklist … Continue reading Remy impresses with his transparent and reflective new visual | #Music

Florida artist BabyJake has wasted no time in quickly asserting himself as one of the premier rising pop talents after only releasing his single “Cigarettes on Patios” earlier this year and very quickly the song amassed millions of streams across Spotify and Apple Music. Although Jake only now has two songs out, the comibation of tedious production quality paired with his gruff yet tender vocals it is hard to believe that he will not be a superstar in a short amount of time. BabyJake’s talent is undeniable, and while “Cigarettes on Patios” exhibited his distinct ability to make a memorable … Continue reading BabyJake discusses teaming up with Scooter Braun, the success of ‘Cigarettes on Patios,’ and the symbolism of his latest visual release ‘239.’ | #Music

The release holds features by Megan Thee Stallion, 6LACK, Bryson Tiler, Jeremih, Lil Durk and more. Click to purchase on iTunes and stream below. I feel like I’m Gucci Mane in 2006 Baton Rouge artist Never Broke Again YoungBoy has dropped the sequel to his 2017 mixtape AI Young Boy. This is the first full length release since he got out of jail back in August. The project is 18 tracks, with notable features from NoCap & Quando Rondo, both artists also from the south like YoungBoy. Leaf Ward and Mamba Cinco collide for a melodic heavy new track and visual, titled “Slit Wrist”. Leaf and Mamba is a great collaboration that I have been looking forward to for some time now and I am very excited about the final product. Mamba kicks the track off with his traditional harmonic croons as Leaf counter-acts with his own melodic bars. The music video is captured by 4k_lil and skillfully edited by @1jbvisuals as they highlight the duo through the city with slick and colorful edits to enhance the whole track.
