Art imitates life, it’s just the way it is. Sure, not everybody lives everything they write about, but somebody out there is, and that’s where the inspiration comes from. For the more authentic artists, it comes from personal experiences… such as waking up on the beach with no pants or recollection of how you got there. For New York City native, Rahz, that situation happened, and it helped him create his fun new record, “Lost In San Diego”.

As evidenced in the title, the aforementioned journey happens at Pacific Beach in San Diego, California — which, if you’ve ever been to PB, this story checks out. Trying to piece together the night over some groovy, and fun production provided by, Boy Bleu, Rahz showcases his inept ability to make his situations seem like they’ve happened to everybody, an endearing quality that not many artists have—and trust me, as fun as PB is, I’ve never lost my pants, but Rahz makes it sound fun.
