KOTA The Friend has quickly become one of my favorite emerging talents. His consistency and simultaneous progression have been a joy to watch from afar over the past few months. Kota meshes carefree instrumentals with thought-provoking lyrics in a way that few of his contemporaries can match. The ever-evolving artist is back yet again with a minimalist new visual for “Bagels” The jazzy single is a breezy listen even as KOTA contemplates facing his inner demons while attempting to convince a love interest to go for some coffee and maybe some “Bagels”.
