Synder & 51B go on “Til Nothing Is Left” in new collaboration | #Music

Hailing from Raleigh, NC, Synder is a music producer and touring DJ shaped by the music cultures he was raised in: Chicago, London, Houston, and many more. After perfecting his craft, Synder links up with New York rapper 51B for “Til Nothing Is Left.” The beat is covered by a nostalgic piano melody while 51B raps about his journey as an independent artist coming up. “The song flooded from me in 30 minutes, and I immediately sent it to B. We both wanted to tell the same story,” Synder talks about the track. Peep the song below. Continue reading Synder & 51B go on “Til Nothing Is Left” in new collaboration | #Music

Huston, we have a banger. Egovert has been making a name for himself rapidly since the release of his song HEY! ft. KIL last year. Over the past 8 months several of his songs have gathered play counts well passed the million mark. The kid is unique. From his image, style of vocals, and hyperactive antics, it is fair to label him as an anomaly. In todays current state of hip-hop, standing out is nearly impossible. Yet, without a facet tattoo or colored braids, Egovert finds a why to keep on turning heads. Here, we receive the official music video … Continue reading Egovert is ready for take off | #Music

Jessi Blue dazzles with their debut project “Lips Do What Hands Do” | #Music

Recently Jessi Blue unveiled their first project Lips Do What Hands Do and I am already very intrigued by the Los Angeles artist, by way of Southern Indiana. Stylistically Jessi falls into the rapidly expanding indie pop wave that is pioneered by artists like Clairo, but Blue puts their own unique spin on things, adding another layer vocally to a sound that can get dry sonically at times. Jessi’s sultry tones give an additional depth to their existential and emotive lyrics. Check out the project below. I think you will enjoy it. Skinny Million$ just released his new album dubbed, Kelly Sl8er. The project is Skinny’s third release overall and his debut effort with Los Angeles based record label, VerySpecial Music. Skinny Million$ grew up in a musical family and always knew that rap music was his path to realizing his life’s goals.   “This Kelly Sl8er project is a project that’s been accumulating my whole life. GuitarEmoji Doesn’t Want An Idiot Girl | #Music

Guitar Emoji makes his return to ELEVATOR with the official video for his outstanding song, “Liars are Lovers”. The song is punk-rap at its finest. Blending elements from both genres, the music bangs with 808’s and drum kits set to emotive guitar melodies drowning in distortion. This is the second video to come from Guitar Emojis album Epitome of Stupidity, a 13-track project of similar sounding songs that further solidify the Dallas Texas based musician as the real deal. This genre bending sound has been around for a little while, but after listening to a couple of his songs you’ll … Continue reading GuitarEmoji Doesn’t Want An Idiot Girl | #Music

Baby Fifty is showing no signs of slowing down with yet another hard visual | #Music

Washington, DC rapper Baby Fifty has been an ELEVATOR favorite since his “Spank His Ass” visual that was equal parts ironically hilarious and unabashedly hard. Fifty’s grimy lyrics and don’t give a fuck attitude quickly endeared him to the entire DMV and it is only a matter of time until his wave starts to spread nationwide. “Empty” is yet another installment in a hot-streak of videos that don’t show any signs of slowing down. Watch “Empty” here: Continue reading Baby Fifty is showing no signs of slowing down with yet another hard visual | #Music

Florida artist jusLo is back with a pair of new tracks | #Music

I have really enjoyed watching Florida rapper jusLo develop since I first heard his If You Didn’t Know EP earlier this year and he has developed artistically with each release from this point. His newest A-B side release titled SPLiT shows a more melodic side to jusLo that is a welcome change for the Floridian who has already proved his large lyrical ability. “ROLL ANOTHER” is my favorite out of the two new songs, but “gold in my face” is also very enjoyable. Keep an eye on jusLo as he only continues to get better. He has a bright future. Stream SPLiT here: Continue reading Florida artist jusLo is back with a pair of new tracks | #Music

OFB Dezzie’s video for “Shmurda” is blowing up right now | #Music

If anyone has been reading or keeping up with the bulk of my write-ups in recent months they would know that I have been particularly fascinated with the U.K. Drill scene that is exploding on the internet and doing massive numbers on channels like GRM Daily (who premiered this visual), Mixtape Madness, and LinkUp TV. This particular video is a new offering from OFB Dezzie, whose OFB affiliates are setting the streets of London on fire with their unforgettable releases. Dezzie’s delivery is impassioned and aggressive and this tone matches with the fast-paced and bass-heavy instrumental his vocals were situated … Continue reading OFB Dezzie’s video for “Shmurda” is blowing up right now | #Music

Briston Maroney unveils his rowdy new visual for “Steve’s First Bruise” | #Music

Tennessee singer Briston Maroney is back with a new visual for his track “Steve’s First Bruise” that has a distinct punk streak that hasn’t been as prevalent in his previous music, but Maroney appears right at home in this niche. This visual accompaniment for this track is aptly fitting and is just as rowdy aesthetically as it is sonically. I am eager to see if he continues to stay in this lane or if this was a quick detour to experiment artistically, but regardless, this song is fantastic. The guitars are punchy and at the track’s forefront and are competing … Continue reading Briston Maroney unveils his rowdy new visual for “Steve’s First Bruise” | #Music
